Small Business Man
Mark has owned and operated a number of small businesses throughout his life, starting his first to afford his education during early adulthood. Since then, his enterprises have primarily focused on healthcare and technology consulting. He currently maintains his managing partner role with Key Green Solutions – the company he played a crucial role in founding – while serving in the Michigan Legislature. His entrepreneurial spirit guides his actions in Lansing, as he advocates for development and infrastructure projects in our community.

Mark's professional experience extends beyond a clerical background, having worked in contexts ranging from truck driving to muck farming. His extensive involvements uniquely prepare him for legislative work, as he brings specialized knowledge and expertise to each topic under consideration. Mark understands what it takes to put food on the table and is committed to fighting for everyday Michiganders.
Community Investments
As a public official, Mark has personally led initiatives that have brought countless jobs to Kent County. During his tenure as Mayor of Walker, Mark collaborated with development and business partners to construct an industrial park. He has also advocated for critical infrastructure investments that have expanded accessibility for citizens and job providers. In many ways, our community has directly benefitted from Mark’s leadership efforts.
